DetailsCause where there’s smoke . . .
Brushfire - a smooth and smoky brown ale featuring Briess’ one of a kind Cherrywood Smoked Malt - it’s distinct and robust, with an aroma reminiscent of bacon, and more pleasant than the sharp acrid tang of a peat smoked malt. Well balanced, with restrained smoke, and caramel, chocolate, and toasty flavors all melding to produce an outstandingly drinkable beer with an unobtrusive, sweet, earthy smokiness redolent of a wet campfire.

5.0 / 5.01 ReviewExcellent Brown AleThis is a very good beer. I couldn't taste the smokiness or any of the very descriptive adjectives in the description but I like it a lot and would order it again, which is something I rarely do. I prefer to experiment a lot. But I will get this one again and probably again and again.January 22, 2014
