1 month agoI'll take IodineI know Iodine isnt the most popular product out there, but Its what I like to use. I like working with it as it dosen't foam up and you can see the tint in the water its in there. Another thing is Iodine in the right amounts is necessary in our bodies unlike what go's in to other sanitizers. I've tried them all but I have used BTF for over 25 yrs.March 15, 2018Purchased
10 months agoThis stuff is greatI bought a bottle about two years ago and just now getting to the end. Never had any issue at all. Yes it can stain if it hits something direct but just a little bit goes a long wayJanuary 25, 2016kills everythingI mix up a gallon whenever I brew and soak all my equipment so its ready for when the boil is done. No infections in 3 years. To avoid staining mix it properly.March 14, 2014Sanitizes everythingI mix up a gallon and sanitize all my fermentors and equipment. Next time I need some I make a gallon, sanitize bottles and equipment. Each time I use just a tiny amount, so this bottle is going to last me 10 years, at least.February 8, 2014Must be working, 3 years, no infectionsI mix up a gallon whenever I need it, using three militers per gallon with a 2 minute contact time, then no rinsing needed, just dump it out. I get 150 uses from this bottle, and have been using the same bottle for years.December 8, 2013Keep it CleanKeep it simple and Clean with this great sanitizer. A Little goes a long way, who doesn't like more bang for their buck!October 11, 2013Works if you follow directions1/10 of an ounce per gallon for sanitizing. And no rinsing. Rinsing with tap water reintroduces bacteria. At concentrations above 1/10 once/gallon you need to rinse and it will stain your equipment._x000D_Most people way over use it because its hard to measure such small amounts._x000D_I make a gallon, use it on several pieces of equipment and dump it, I don't keep it around. All you need to do is wet the equipment and keep it wet (while drying) for a minute (or even less, 40 seconds)September 27, 2013Good sanitizerThis is a good sanitizer, I've used it for a year with no problems. A teaspoon is good for one and a half gallons, and will last a long time. IF you dilute it as per the directions and allow the correct contact time it wont stain. IF you make it too concentrated, and let equipment sit overnight, it will stain.July 24, 2013It SanatizesThe price is great the only thing i wish was different was it had a better life while using it i know my friend's sanatizer is good for 4 weeks after it is mixed this is one time use once mixed i woulda spent a little more to get that if i realized so far everything is clean so its a good product.April 29, 2013
