4.9 / 5.023 ReviewsNice addition to the Blichmann BurnerI originally purchased the Blichmann Burner to be used now, but to be added on to the Top Tier System later. My plans have since changed as to when to update to the Top Tier. Anyway, I purchased these legs to get away from an array of cinder blocks I was using to raise the burner. These legs are easy to attach, and they raise the burner sufficiently high to drain your kettle immediately into a carboy. Other reviews I read about the burner is that it will scorch your deck if it is not sufficiently high. These legs will solve that problem. I am rating this four stars on the price and value, only because I thought that they should be a little cheaper. They are a great addition, and I only wish that I had purchased them originally.October 8, 2010ConvenientOn the one hand these are a bit pricey, and you could instead use a bunch of cinder blocks._x000D_On the other hand its extremely convenient to have these, as all I have to do is pick up the burner and carry it outside the garage._x000D__x000D_Easy to install._x000D_Make sit easy to drain wort right into my fermentation bucket.November 23, 2012worth it!I bought these when I bought my Blichmann burner, and these are no-brainer recommended add-ons. They elevate the burner to a comfortable height so that it is extremely easy to go from kettle to fermenting bucket. And since they're made by Bichmann they fit perfectly and are very stable.February 14, 2013All new legsI thought by the description that these were extensions, but they are not. They are entirely different legs. They are well build and solid. I have no qualms with putting a full pot on the Floor Burner with these legs.February 21, 2013Makes brew day easierThese legs are solid , strong, and easy to install. They allow me to raise the height of my burner so that I can attach a hose to the dip tube and have the ball valve just empty into the bucket. I much prefer them to having to prop up the burner on a few bricks for each leg. More convenient and safer.February 27, 2013A lot better than Cinder blocksNow that I have these legs I can use gravity to transfer the wort through the ball valve, into my car boy. The legs are more stable than cinder blocks, so it's a safety issue as well as a convenience.March 18, 2013Well Worth the CostI purchased these along with the Blichman burner. Couldn't imagine not having these on brew Day. Legs lift the burner/pot to the perfect height, Primary Fermenter fits easily underneath it for transferring the batch to the primary fermenter. If you are in the marker for a new burner go with the Blichamn and don't forget the extensions!April 24, 2013Legs are a mustI got the extended legs and found them to be a great accessory. with my 15 gal pot on top of the burner and leg extenders i can easily gravity feed my wart into my carboy, and i built a 2x2 plywood stand with caster wheels for easy positioning._x000D_May 13, 2013Lets me transfer directly to a bucket without a pumpI no longer need a pump to transfer wort to my bucket form my kettle, as I can now use gravity to let the wort flow out of the ball valve. The legs are well designed, and make the burner stable. They took less than 10 minutes to install, first removing the old legs.May 21, 2013Very sturdy and worth the expenseReally good quality stuff from Blichmann and these are no exception. I was amazed how sturdy the burner setup still is even when adding the additional length of the legs. The only complain (and it is minor) is that my extensions did not come with an instruction sheet. No big deal, it took about 20 seconds to realize what you have to do, but it would have been nice to know what size sockets/wrenches I needed. Seemed like 17mm to me, and the removal of the shorter legs and installation of these took about 15 minutes including the reinstallation of the pot "guard" brackets. A very nice product again and not very expensive at all.July 4, 2013
