A traditional hard sparkling cider that is packed full of flavor. This apple cider is crisp, light and refreshing, a perfect choice any time of the year. Its remarkably fresh apple nose and well-balanced mouthfeel are brought to life in a tart, golden-hued body.
A refreshing, spritzy alternative to beer—mouthwatering cider with a boozy twist lacks the bitterness of ale.
Striking a balance between scrumptiously sweet and tartly dry, hard cider carries an easy-drinking 5-7% alcohol content.
Served lightly carbonated, cider pairs exceptionally well with food. Fresh cheese, leafy greens, seafood morsels and anything slow-cooked, smoked or barbecued will perfectly complement the boozy apple nectar of fall.
Cider House Select™ Apple Cider is a crisp beverage enjoyed by beer and wine lovers alike.
Now Gluten Free!
This 6 gallon recipe kit is deliciously packed full of flavor, with juice made from apples ripe for the picking.
Note: All Cider House Select Kits require the addition of 2 pounds of corn sugar to reach their full alcohol potential

4.3 / 5.06 ReviewsNot everything is includedI was surprised that corn sugar was not included in the kit. Minimal instructions on the packaging. The instructions, yeast, flavoring packets are all inside the pouch. That is confusing.

My Favorite Cider kitI use this kit all the time. I don't use the enclosed sweetener because I think it leaves an artificial taste. I usually put this in a keg with 2-3 cans of store bought apple juice concentrate. That gives it a very nice balance of sweet and sour apple.- Was this review helpful? Yes (2) No (0)

OKFor the price this is not a bad kit. Make sure you have the extra 2lbs of sugar to raise the SG for fermentation. I used brown sugar. The taste is decent and there is a crispness to the finish. I used the entire sweetener packet because I enjoy sweet ciders from time to time, but it ended up tasting as a medium-sweet, which is fine, but not what I was hoping for.- Was this review helpful? Learn MoreBrowse 1 question Browse 1 question and 8 answersIs the kit set up so that you have to brew all 6 gal in one go or can you make it 1 gal at a time?BEST ANSWER: The kit is designed for a six gallon batch and would be very difficult to try to parcel out to make one gallon batches. Also please note that nowhere do they say that the instructions, yeast and additives are inside the package in a dry pouch. My advice if you want to try one gallon batches is to get unsweetened apple concentrate from the store that does not have any preservatives ( absorbic acid / vitamin C is OK). 3-4 cans should make a decent gallon batch. Just measure the SG to get it where you want it to be. A white wine yeast would work well in case you can't find cheap cider yeast.
