Midwest Supplies are my go to place for most of my all grain brewing supplies.December 23, 2015Goes well in IPAsI like the Grapefryit/citusy taste of some IPAs and this hop is great for both grapefruity flavor and aroma. I both dry hop and add it at knockout.December 22, 2013Great citrus characterThese hops are everything you heard about them. They have a very distinct citrus smell and seem like the stronger cascade cousin. They will bitter your beer real well and one almost has to be cautious bittering with them for their strong acid content. One thing I have against this product is the packaging. The no vacuum seal makes these prone to spoiling if not refrigerated. I guess, brew as soon as you get them or get them cooled.November 12, 2013CitrusyCitra hops have a great flavor and smell, being ideal for dry hopping and last additions. I'm willing to pay the extra dollar for such a good tasting and smelling hop.November 8, 2013nice citrusy pineapple flavorFresh Citra has a great aroma and flavor. But if they get stale they are unpleasant. I like using them in IPAs and pale ales like a clone I made of Sierra Nevadas torpedo IPA.August 24, 2013Love theseI bought these just to try in a wheat beer I was making. Turned out great. I have since used them in an English bitter also.July 19, 2013A good Citra IPAThree Floyds Zombie Dust has them, and since it is so hard to get (even in Indiana where the Brewery is) I have to make a clone!June 20, 2013Best dry hopAs far as I'm concerned, these are the best out there for dry hopping. I use them in my "house" IPA and it always impresses._x000D_There's nothing not to like about Citra!!June 10, 2013Awesome....many uses!First of all i just want to say all leaf hops are awesome. These hops right here tho! THESE HOPS RIGHT HERE. are amazing. I made some tea, ive used them with my randall JR (moon man, high life, HB IPA) and its intensified the flavors i enjoyed about each of those drinks.April 18, 2013Tropical fruit aroma/tasteI use Citra hops in IPAs, they are one of my favorite finishing hops. They contribute a nice Citrus aroma and taste. I use 1 ounce at 15 minutes to flavor and 1 ounce at knockout for aroma.April 13, 2013
