DetailsThese bottle caps are perfect for brewers afflicted with tactile hyposensitivity, or anyone who's ever thought, "This beer feels cold, but it doesn't look cold." Take the guesswork out of chilling your homebrew with these amazing cold-activated crown caps. They begin to change to a blue color at approx. 46 degrees, and reach "maximum blue tonality indication" at 41 degrees. What does that mean? If the cap is blue, you've got cold brew. They're fun, inexpensive, a little out of the ordinary, and a good way to start a conversation about your homebrew.

5.0 / 5.06 ReviewsGood Product, Good PriceI?m surprised that these are the best deal among the caps sold at Midwest because they have two features that some others at higher prices do not: The cool (no pun intended) ??cold beer? indicator on the crown and the oxygen liner, which I don?t know if is actually an oxygen absorber (better) or an oxygen barrier (standard). I?ve had no issues with these caps. The cold indicator is a definite plus. As long as these stay cheaper or even in-line price-wise with other caps, I will use these exclusively.August 2, 2016Nice caps. Like the ready to drink functionVery fun idea. 6 months agoLove this cap! This cap adds a simple but fantastic characteristic to your homebrew, which I have received many compliments on. It lets you know when it is at perfect temperature to consume. I am sad to see that this product is out of stock, and hope that these re-emerge in stock. This cap seals great and is not any more expensive than regular caps. Great buy and wonderful product.March 16, 2014They workI bottled some Imperial Stout and aged for 8 months.
