If you know how to use it....
I felt the lone review was unjustifiably low so I felt I should clear a few things up. I have used 1, 2, and 4 line cool plates for years and here are my opinions._x000D__x000D_I would recommend using SS coils for 1-2 tap boxes and cold plates for anything more than that. This is strictly based on cost and cooler space. You will not have a problem cooling your beer with these if properly used. _x000D__x000D_1. Set this 2-3" from the bottom of the cooler to allow water and ice to envelope the plate._x000D_2. Do not keep draining the water out of the cooler. The more ice/water surface area contact there is the better it will cool. _x000D_3. You will have to play with your gas regulation to get your perfect pour. I usually end up around 18psi with a warm keg. Sitting in the sun, I can end up around 23-28psi. You'll have to do the same with a SS coil.

Only works with cold kegs!
The coil inside this plate is not long enough to fit an entire 16 oz of beer, let alone several. In other words, don't count on this plate to chill beer from a warm keg. You will get serious foaming no matter what you do with line sizing and pressure control. It won't foam if you keep your keg cold, but that sort of ruins the convenience factor (now I have to keep a keg and jockey box cold???). I recommend you save up for a long length SS coil that can chill several servings at once, this one is just too small.
