Awesome 10gal kettle

Wish I would've bought a bigger one.

Say Good Bye to Boil Overs

I have been using a 15 gallon brew pot for my 10 gallon boils and boil overs would happen if I was there to stop them. Tested this 20 gallon pot on my last brew and had no boil over worries like I had with the 15 gallon pot. I will be going electric and my hop blocker will fit with Blichmann's boil coil (according to Blichmann). I also purchased a 20 gallon Mega Pot and my hop blocker did not fit with the dip tube. I will now be using that pot for my HLT.

Great service

Its a little sad that Bluchmann never goes on sale, but at least Midwest's service and shipping is top notch!

Made in America

I have the G1 version and much prefer the kettle overall. I purchased the G2 version recently and am not as impressed. I own many Blichmann products and this is still a good pot, just not liked as much as G1 version. Would I purchase again? Undecided._x000D__x000D_Pros: Made in America, one piece construction_x000D__x000D_Cons: less durable handles especially lid (bends easily), 3 varying-degrees of brushed finish (outside, inside and lid -- have 3 different brushed finishes), valve requires too many turns / manipulation for open / close, need to replace linear valve, edges of lid / pot are not rolled therefore somewhat sharp, I perceive the kettle to be less durable overall_x000D__x000D_As mentioned, this is a good kettle but for the $$ I would have appreciated better upgrades. Unfortunately, I am in a dilemma as to whether finish brewery with G2's or move elsewhere.
