Needs aging to reach its full potential!
I have been making wine since 1972. This kit has the potential to be outstanding.
I added extra oak chips during the initial fermentation. It is still in a carboy waiting for the degasing and clearing process. I am sure it will be great after 5 to 6 months but will be fine after 2 months.

Although the purchasing process could be considered a 5 star experience it is far to soon to rate the product itself except for saying that the kit was complete the instructions clear and complete with the buying process being seamless.

AMARONE WINE KIT
We ordered the wine kit and expected shipment notice within 1 to 2 days. The shipment was about 5 days after ordering-not sure if covid related, but can understand shipping is moving slower than usual. Shipment “delay” is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise, great website and ordering process and keeping me informed. Great prices and shipping policies. BTW, can't comment on the wine yet....but, looks like wine, smells like wine, probably is wine...we'll see after about year of aging. :). Seriously, I am impressed with the quality of ingredients in the En Primeur Kits. I'm planning on buying other kits once this is bottled.

Amarone!
So far this is my favorite kit from Midwest. I am currently in the secondary fermentation stage, but it is going great. I can't wait to have this wine for the holidays!
