I have some trouble doing the 2 point calibration setup, so I just use 7.01 solution. (it is a problem I have understanding the directions) That said, it works great.
Works well enough for the amateur winemaker-good measurements to the tenth, not hundredth. If you're working in a winery, you'll want something higher end.
I have only used it twice but so far I am very pleased with it
It's a lot more accurate, and gives better results. The only drawback is the recalibration before each use.
The pH strips have a wide range and seem to be off a couple of points. This meter on the other hand is accurate and helps me stay in a much narrower range. The only maintenance it requires is keeping the electrode wet in buffer solution.
