I used the LME and DME for my own recipe for a birthday brew. I use 2 row, cara 20 and some special B along with 3 lbs of honey. The LME and DME always adds a good color and depth of flavor.

The Gold Extract comes in a very handy jug which is easy to use. I am making a lager with it using the Gold, a small amount of wheat DME, Tettnanger and Saaz hops. The yeast is Bohemian 2124. Primary and secondary temps averaged 46 degrees. Just bottled it and the beer was clear and very drinkable. It will be an excellent batch...…. I ordered more jugs of gold as a result.
