This nearly black deep-red wine from the southern Rhône region translates to “The Pope’s new castle” and offers rich characteristics of nutmeg, cocoa, and ripe small berries. We recommend decanting this wine for 30 - 60 min and serving cool just below room temp around 60-65F.

I never give 5 stars for any kit wines but this is an excellent offering. Easy to process and a great wine to have for anything Italian. I would give it as a gift with pride.

Time will tell
I’ve done many wines from Wine Expert, first time using Master Vintner. It came with a very small leak in the bag, and the instructions aren’t quite as well done as Wine Expert. If the wine turns out to be great, then I will gladly change it to 5 stars.
