They arrived in GREAT shape. We just have not got them filled yet. More orders coming your way.
I'll do two separate portions. The bottles themselves are exactly what I needed for half bottles. I've used before, and like the fact that we don't have to open a regular bottle which may not be consumed right away.
Regarding the shipping. None of the bottles were damaged, and the box was marked fragile, but apparently somewhere in the delivery someone didn't understand F-R-A-G-I-L-E. Both outer and inner boxes were damaged on the neck end. I normally wouldn't care, except since these don't fit in my wine rack, I use the box to store the wine.
These are nice little bottles for putting wine samples in to share with friends. If they don't like the wine they don't end up dumping out a lot or being forced to drink it so they don't hurt your feelings, and you can still have enough wine left to give 3 more friends a sample ! Who might Love it!! Their size is just one glass full perfect for sampling. You will need a good corker though as putting that #7 cork in with a hand corker is almost impossible unless you are Sampson ! If you use the plastic champagne corks and get them forced in there....you need channel lock pliers or have to be Sampson to get them out or cut the raised center part of the cork off possibly putting your fingers at risk of being injured or severed...I don't recommend it...
used these for wedding favors, filled with white and red wine. they worked great. great clarity, quality, and were packaged to survive a nuclear holocaust. will definitely buy from Midwest again.
I use these to bottle wine gifts and meads to reduce waste. Descent quality but pricey.
