The all natural Blackberry fruit puree from Brewer's Orchard adds an intense and characteristic aroma and flavor of fresh blackberries in beer and mead. Only non-GMO blackberries that are ripe and healthy are used to make this puree.
The blackberry puree is a completely natural product; undiluted, unconcentrated, and preservative-free. Contains no seeds and has been commercially sterilized.
The puree can be added directly to the primary or secondary fermenter - do not boil.

Most commercial breweries use 1-3 pounds of fruit puree per gallon of beer. Eleven pounds of puree is a great size for 5 gallon batches.
When making a Melomel use between 1.25 and 2.2 pounds of fruit puree per gallon depending on the flavor and aroma profile you desire.
Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures below 75°F for the best shelf life.
Note: Once opened, the product should be consumed as soon as possible and kept refrigerated or frozen.
