Product Details

Hop Heads listen up, because we’ve got a perplexing Conundrum for you. An abundance of alluring hop aromas, fresh, in your face hop flavor, and a bracing bitterness that bombastically screams IPA. Though it isn’t. Clocking in with an OG of 1.045, it’s session strength—barely in Pale Ale territory—but the hops are so present you’d swear you were drinking a big IPA. So good, this IPA beer kit just may become your new Go To hop bomb.

Hop bursting squeezes maximum flavor into every IBU, and the low gravity makes the hops pop. A lean, clean malt bill puts the balance squarely on the bitterness, with a dry finish that steps aside to let Simcoe, Amarillo®, Centennial, and Crystal create a bountiful bouquet of citrusy, piney, and floral notes. The result is intense hoppy flavor and aroma you can enjoy All Day long. So good, this IPA recipe kit just may become your new Go To hop bomb.

AMARILLO® is a trademark owned by Virgil Gamache Farms, Inc.

If you enjoyed Hop Scare IPA, you'll love this kit!

Fantastic! New tradition

Used this kit with homegrown whole-cone hops in the boil and dry-hopped with hops in the kit. Turned out fantastic! Will do this every fall after hop harvest. Nice light malt base allows the hops to shine through.

Great Summer Beer

I love this beer for the summer months. It has a low alcohol percentage which is great for drinking a few (or more) beers on a hot day, but it also has a very good taste. I have added grapefruit, tangerine, lime and some other flavors at bottling time for many of my batches.

Pineapple Habanero Conundrum Session IPA

Used this recipe as the base for a Pineapple Habanero IPA requested by one of the sons-in-law. The recipe made it pretty easy, added 5lbs of crushed pineapple and one chopped habanero. Awesome result. Next time I’ll add two peppers.
