DetailsDead Ringer is a nod of the cap to the stalwart IPA of the upper Midwest. This devilishly simple recipe flaunts clean American base malt flavors, muted notes of caramel and then brazenly boasts the classic flavors of Centennial hops. Hell's Heart cascades into the glass with a fiery orange hue while releasing relentless wafts of dominant citrus tones of grapefruit, and then opens up into an abyss of inescapable bitterness and beastly citrus flavor.

4.5 / 5.010 ReviewsJust tapped it today. Hoppy, but not overwhelmingly so. Nice citrusy tang to it. Will definitely make again. Reminds me of Hoppy Ky Yay from Lonerider Brewing.January 11, 2019Purchased

8 months agoExpect Long Secondary FermentationFast start on primary, normal length and spot on gravity readings. Dry hops at end of secondary erupted in new vigorous fermentation that tapered off to a slow, long finish. We are talking a month. 1 week after bottling, light carbonation but tastes exceptional. Worth the wait.December 12, 2018Purchased

8 months agoBuy on Sale!I buy on sale! Just for the value of the ingredients. Maybe I brew as suggested, maybe I deconstruct the kit (Dr. John) and reassemble later with other ingredients.
Keep the good sales coming!November 15, 2018Purchased
