No senseless extra components—Cold Crash™ is the essentials, your imagination designs the rest. Compatible with any standard keezer collar (which, no doubt, you’ve already got plans on how to build).
Cold Crash™ is easy to install and includes thorough instructions. Pop it into your keezer, hook up your kegs and you’ve got a world-class taproom. Hope you’re ready to bartend!
Why a keezer? You’ve heard of a kegerator, the ever-convenient way to serve beer on tap. A keezer is a kegerator for serious brewers. With more space for more kegs and taps you can showcase your full lineup of homebrew. Plus, temperature control allows a keezer to serve a triple-purpose—the centerpiece of a taproom, a lagering cooler, and a cooling chamber for cold-crashing your beer before transferring it.
In short, a keezer is a kegerator with unlimited flexibility. Ideal for the serious brewer who is already a kegging king, keezers not only make your taproom professional-quality, you’ll be able to improve the quality of your beer, too.

Browse 9 questions Browse 9 questions and 21 answerswhat is the shank size (diameter)? I would like to add a rubber washer on the inside of the keezer (inside the lock nut) to help prevent cold air leakage as much as possible.BEST ANSWER: The outside diameter of the shank is 1".Can I use this kit to install taps through the door of a refrigerator?BEST ANSWER: Easily. Just drill a proper diameter hole to accommodate the tap, seal it well with the rubber grommets or silicone and your set. You can add a drip tray below the tap. Do not try to run your tap through the side of the fridge as there are usually refrigerant lines in that part that you do not want to drill into. Happy kegging!!Can I use this to add a second tap to the 3" wide tower in my single tap kegerator? Is the shank on this adjustable or would it need to be replaced?BEST ANSWER: I would think you could if you have the room to drill a hole for it. I have 4 of these. I have them mounted through 2" pressure treated pine that I use for my keezer collar. The shank length is what it shows, so if you need a shorter shank , that could pose a problem,as it can't be shortened or lengthenedCan this be ordered with a pin lock disconnect?BEST ANSWER: Not that I know of, but getting the pin lock connector should be an easy swap. Sorry for any inconvenience. What size of hole would I need to drill in fridge door?BEST ANSWER: I did not put this on a fridge door, but through a collar on the keezer that I made, not sure that it make a difference through wood, and it's been a while, but I think i used a 7/8" drill bit.3/16" or 1/4" ID barbs and tubing?BEST ANSWER: The tubing and tail pieces are 3/16".How long is shankBEST ANSWER: The shank is 4.125 inches long. Can I attach this to a regular Sankey coupler instead of a ball lock?
