1 year agoCustomer Service regarding the return of the included kegThis was a Christmas gift for me from my wife. Ordered on xmas day and received on the Friday after. The keg came with a damaged foot on the lid. I called Midwest and worked with them through text messaging system. They replaced the keg and sent it out with 2 days after the report. They were very professional and helpful. After being a customer of their's for almost 4 years, they have proven their worth, not only with their kits, but with their customer service. I even got a signed letter from the service agent stating his apologies for "delaying my brew." Midwest Supplies is a superb company.January 7, 2018Purchased
1 year agoEpic fail. Iâ??ll not use this again.Starting with the instructions, viewing the videos and reviewing the tips and suggestions of other users, I thought I was ready to use this successfully. I couldnt have been more hopelessly wrong.
The pressure gauge was essentially unusable. Pressure delivered wasnt close to the pressure indicated on the gauge. For example, when filling a 16 ounce fliptop bottle at 10 psi it took two minutes and 14 seconds that exacerbated with endless foaming. I filled it until beer flowed out the top then sealed immediately. To add to my frustration, that left 2 1/2 inches of dead space in the bottle. I double checked pressure delivery, and saw that it was only putting out 4 psi. I dont adjusted the pressure back up to 10 psi with the same result. I try to couple of bottles at eight psi, with unsatisfactory results and then increase the pressure to 12 psi equally bad. Ive been stopped bottling and started to troubleshoot the CO2 pressure gauge and found that it flat did not work.January 3, 2018Purchased
1 year agoVery nice!!This is a really nice system, everything was packaged well and is ready to go. I haven't used it yet but will update my review when I do. I'm going to test it out on making orange soda for the kids so I know what I'm doing when my beer is ready. Can't wait to use it.August 26, 2016

Browse 5 questions Browse 5 questions and 7 answersHow tall is the Keg with everything hooked up?how tall is it and how many gallons does it hold?BEST ANSWER: Height is about 25.25 inches with the gas/liquid connects on the top, closer to 24.5" without those. It holds 5 gallons (plus headspace, but you wouldn't really want to put more than 5 in)Is this a corny keg?BEST ANSWER: It is not a Cornelius branded keg, but it is a standard ball-lock keg, functionally the same as a Cornelius brand keg.Can I serve beer direct from the keg,or is this a bottling only set up?BEST ANSWER: Thanks for contacting Northern Brewer. The Tap-n-Fill system lets you do both kegging and bottling. You can keg your beer or you can attach the Last Straw Bottle filler to your CO2 tank to bottle your kegged beer without the need of priming sugar or fizz drops. Cheers!Does anyone know the ID for the gas lines?BEST ANSWER: The gas lines are 3/16" I.D.
