4.7 / 5.03 ReviewsExcellent AltbierI'm making my second batch. The first was an extract. A friend tried my brew and said that it reminded him of the Altbier he had in Germany recently. Great job with the ingredients Midwestsupplies!December 1, 2012altbierThis is a smooth tasting beer. Not an octoberfest by any means, but still a great tasting, malty beer. Iwent with wyeast and it fermed great! Easy to follow instructions with great results!June 2, 2013it was an excellent beerThis is an excellent beer. It has a mellow pleasant maltiness. The hops stayed in the background perfectly. It reminded me of an octoberfest. I bought the liquid yeast which I believe put it over the top. I absolutely recommend this kit.September 30, 2012
