Good bottle; rusty swing top
Right out of the box the bottles look great. They are sturdy and a beautiful deep brown. The swing tops were comfortable to put on as I tested three bottles. I ran into an issue on bottling day though. As I sanitized the bottles, I took the swing tops and put them in a pool of no-rinse sanitizer. After 15 minutes, they began shedding their metallic coat. I had to scrub each one to ensure that nothing flaked off into my beer as I attached the tops to the bottles. They went from looking brand new to rusted and shedding in a matter of minutes. I got them installed on top after bottling my beer, but I'm upset that they lost their look in only minutes.

Great and easy to use (and reuse)
We’ve been using these for years and have never had any trouble. They’re easy to use and reuse. As a bonus, the size and swing top allow you to use fewer bottles per batch making the process quicker and easier.

Love them. Pour a glass, snap the cap back on and put the bottle back in the frig. and it's cold for the next glass you'll have later! You can usually open one about 3 times before it loses all the carbonation.

Amber flip top ex capers.
Excellent product. I currently own cobalt blue and Amber 1 liter bottles all have been used over and over with no failures. Expensive but worth every penny . My friends often want to keep them, I have to tell them no more beer till you give it back.

Are these bottles dishwasher safe?
A shopper on Dec 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I can't say for sure as I always rinse with hot water as soon as they are empty. Before use I wash them in a bucket of hot water and Brewery wash or Sal Soda. Then rinse In a bucket of hot water and citric acid solution, up end them and air dry. As part of the washing and rinsing I fill about half full and cover the neck and shake vigorously.
can these bottles be capped to conditioning beer?
A shopper on Mar 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: when the beer is ready to be bottled, I stir in the priming sugar, than bottle the beer. these bottle seal good and the beer carbonates properly. I have beer left from last March and its still carbonated and tastes great. Sometimes I think the flavor improved some, but normally I drink the beer long before the year is past.
What are the dimensions of the bottle?
K I on Aug 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The bottom of the bottle measures 4 inches across. The height of the bottle is 11.5 inches.
