Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 4 answersWhat size is the drill hole needed? and can I buy the spigot lone.BEST ANSWER: You will need to drill a 1 inch hole. You can most definitely purchase the spigot alone. Here is the link to that spigot. http://www.midwestsupplies.com/fermenter-s-favoritestm-bottling-spigot.html I hope that this helps! Is this drill bit for plastic only or can it be used for metal or glass?BEST ANSWER: I have only used it on the plastic fermenter. I would certainly try it on metal. Depending on the type of metal and drill, of course. It seems sturdy enough to me. Good luck.
