Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 3 answersHi,
I am looking at both the 10 and 7-gallon all-grain brewing kits. I don't brew more than 5-gallon batches and my grain bills are fairly traditional. Is there any reason I would choose the 10 over the 7-gallon kit?
ThanksBEST ANSWER: To be honest with you, this is the first all grain system I have bought and used, I have done extract brewing for about 7 years. I had the same thought as you, I only due 5 gallon batches because I like to have multiple styles of beer at all times. I also look at storage space when not in use since I have a lot of wine making equipment also. If you have no plans to increase your brewing to 8-10 gallons I think the 7 gallon size is fine, works for me.Are the coolers available with stainless ball valves at a higher price?BEST ANSWER: Frosty,
If you want a stainless ball valve you would need to purchase that in addition as we don't have the kit available with it.
