Upgraded to ensure a tight seal, our insulated Fermenter’s Favorites® Hot Liquor Tank and Mash/Lauter Tun coolers feature silicone-reinforced valve ports for a leak-free brew day. Quick, simple assembly of brass ball valves offers superior flow control, minimizing the risk of clogging or stuck sparges.
Improved effectiveness in keeping grain particles out of your wort, the newly redesigned smooth-edged Titan universal false bottom promotes clear wort while setting up a solid grain bed, delivering high mash yields and eliminating scratched cooler walls.
The Fermenter’s Favorites® 7 gallon cooler has a full capacity of 7.6 gallons.
New cooler design stores easily and stays out of the way with recessed, foldable handles and a narrower body for a smaller footprint in your brew cave.
Includes 3/8” brass barb fittings, hi-temp vinyl tubing and a siphon sprayer for dispersing sparge water.

Fermenter's Favorites?? 7 Gallon Essential All Grain Brewing Starter Kit,
I haven't had time to brew, but I'm excited to try, this being my first time at all grain brewing I feel I can't rate this product until I have used. I have been extract brewing for about 7-8 years.

Hi,
I am looking at both the 10 and 7-gallon all-grain brewing kits. I don't brew more than 5-gallon batches and my grain bills are fairly traditional. Is there any reason I would choose the 10 over the 7-gallon kit?
Thanks

BEST ANSWER: To be honest with you, this is the first all grain system I have bought and used, I have done extract brewing for about 7 years. I had the same thought as you, I only due 5 gallon batches because I like to have multiple styles of beer at all times. I also look at storage space when not in use since I have a lot of wine making equipment also. If you have no plans to increase your brewing to 8-10 gallons I think the 7 gallon size is fine, works for me.
Are the coolers available with stainless ball valves at a higher price?

BEST ANSWER: Frosty,

If you want a stainless ball valve you would need to purchase that in addition as we don't have the kit available with it.

Cheers!
