4.0 / 5.02 ReviewsWorked great, just a few packaging errors.First batch came out great. Followed combination of kit instructions and recipe from Joy of Home Brewing. All equipment worked as expected, no leaks and held temperature. Only issue was 1 missing O-Ring for the value and an extra tank faucet if I ever wanted to use either of the tanks as a water cooler. Called customer service and a replacement ring was sent immediately, arriving just in time for planned brew.
Have been extract home brewing 3-4x year for past 12 years, this equipment made the all grain experience easy and making me wish I tried it years ago.November 25, 2016Purchased

Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 3 answersHi,
I am looking at both the 10 and 7-gallon all-grain brewing kits. I don't brew more than 5-gallon batches and my grain bills are fairly traditional. Is there any reason I would choose the 10 over the 7-gallon kit?
ThanksBEST ANSWER: To be honest with you, this is the first all grain system I have bought and used, I have done extract brewing for about 7 years. I had the same thought as you, I only due 5 gallon batches because I like to have multiple styles of beer at all times. I also look at storage space when not in use since I have a lot of wine making equipment also. If you have no plans to increase your brewing to 8-10 gallons I think the 7 gallon size is fine, works for me.Are the coolers available with stainless ball valves at a higher price?BEST ANSWER: Frosty,
If you want a stainless ball valve you would need to purchase that in addition as we don't have the kit available with it.
