DetailsThis slick unit can be used for bottling both still & sparkling wine. The filler has a tapered fitting that accommodates 5/16”, 3/8” & 1/2” siphon hoses. To use, simply attach the siphon hose to the spigot on the bottling bucket & filler unit, turn the spigot on, push the button on the filler & the filling begins! When the bottle is full, the unit automatically shuts off. The rubber piece that goes into the bottle can be moved to adjust the fill level. The nut on the top of the unit allows regulation of the flow.

4.0 / 5.040 ReviewsVery helpful accessoryI read a lot of the reviews, and agree using this bottle filler can be tricky and my first experience was messy to say the least. My wine seemed to have a lot of CO-2 in it, and wine and gas wanted to escape through the top. I did 2 things that made all the difference, I ran a hose from the top into a empty wine bottle to vent, and I shortened the distance I was siphoning so the wine had less pressure. After doing those things, it has worked really well and speeds up bottling tremendously.April 13, 2018Purchased

1 year agoResponse from Midwest SuppliesThanks for the review. I am sorry that it did not come with instructions as you had hoped. The filler works with a 5/16"-1/2" tubing. One end of the tubing connects to the filler, the other your bottling vessel. Once it is hooked up, open the spigot on the bottling vessel and push down the button on the filler. That will start the flow into the bottle. The filler will automatically stop when the bottle has been filled. Our customer service team is happy to help if you have additional questions.November 7, 2017Todd J StaffWell worth the $15 costProbably reduced my bottling time by a third, allowed me to cork one while filling the next bottle.
Also works as a siphon starter, no bottling bucket required! Place it in a bottle, inhale through the little tube that sticks out the top, and it will start the siphon for you!

over 2 years agoDoes not work. Can't get it to stop filling, lost to much wine.August 28, 2016Great Bottle Filler IF Configured CorrectlyI really like this but I was getting wine sputtering/leaking wine out the vent cap. Not much but enough to be irritating. My first solution was to use a smaller diameter siphon hose and tightening the vent cap a little to slow the fill rate helped greatly.I thought about modifying the vent cap with a tube so it could vent out the tube and not the threads but then I remembered it already came with an extra vent cap w/short length of tube! :-)FINAL SOLUTION:REPLACE the vent cap with the vent cap and tube.Bottles fill faster and no sputtering or leaking. Its the foam and bubbles that foam up to the cap that cause the leakage. Using the cap w/tube eliminates that. I also bought a filler from a different manufacturer and they also have a tube coming out the vent. Try it you will be very happy.May 5, 2016why no reviews from 2015?I purchased this earlier this year; tried to use it. it is complete waste of time and money as it leaked profusely around the top valve due to poor construction. I posted my review accordingly. it has never appeared as a review from a verified purchaser. Midwest . . . . I'm concerned about trusting your product reviews if the ones I post are not reflected in the rating. Has no one purchased this item since 2014?September 14, 2015poor quality - very frustrating - not a good use of my money or timeoozes beer around the top of the cut-off valve when cut-off. based on other reviews, a common problem. made a huge mess, wasted beer (serious offense); went back to my tube with the manual pressure clamp after wasting a couple of hours trying to get this filler to work._x000D_dissapointing - and uselessMay 22, 2015
- Customer Q&A
Browse 3 questions Browse 3 questions and 16 answersCan this be used with a siphon?BEST ANSWER: It is a siphon, and yes it can be used with a siphon. Issue is - using a large tube can siphon faster without the auto bottle filler because the fillers pipe is smaller so it's goes a bit slower, but the fillers benefit is stopping flow in bottle automatically due to loss of air. For siphoning from carboy or barrel, use largest tube / pipe you can find. For bottle filling, get largest tube that fits bottle filler. Hope this helps.Have one of these, it keeps spitting out of the top. I try to adjust it with the top button. Any suggestions. Thanks.BEST ANSWER: I use the Ferrari bottle filer all the time when bottling wine. It does spit out the top sometimes I found that the bottom has to be securely put in neck of bottle if not air has a chance to enter causing updraft. Can this product be used in brewing beer?BEST ANSWER: Yes it can but it would add a lot of oxygen to the beer. We do not recommend it.
