DetailsKeeping track of your yeast and beers is very important to making the best brew that you can. This wax pencil can be used to mark your slant tubes, Erlenmeyer flasks, and even your glass carboys. Keep track of dates, transfers, or whatever you want. Wax marking peels off when you need to clear the markings.

4.3 / 5.013 ReviewsWorks great. These pencils are great for writing on glass and other surfaces, which comes in handy when you have all kinds of glassware to mark. It's nice that it isn't permanent, yet it stays on long enough to be highly useful.March 27, 2013Wax pencilIts a good pencil for marking carboys because it doesnt smudge. Just don't unwrap too much of the wax tip at one time.July 28, 2013Writes on glass and plasticIt very useful to me to write on a carboy whats in it and when it was put there. It sure beats taping on a stick-it. It doesn't smudge like other markers, and I can mark flasks that don'e have enough lines (i.e. at 1L and 1.5L)November 6, 2013Cheap and UsefulThis is great for marking anything glass. Lasted a long time for me.February 1, 2014Doesn't smudgeWrites on all my fermentors and flasks. And it doesn't smudge if touched.March 11, 2014Works but quality could be improvedThis marker works but the string and wood wraps that are used to expose more of the wax isn't the best quality I've used. This can make it difficult to not waste marker as the wax will break if too much of it is exposed when writing with it.December 21, 2012Wax PencilThis is actually very useful for marking glass carboys. Unlike markers it wont run or easily smudge. I also use it to mark 1000 ML of my 2000 ML flask that has markings every 400 ML, and thus has no 1000 ML mark.February 20, 2013Writes on glassYou can use these for carboys, flasks, or any other glass surface. But, this is a really high price for one marker. I keep a few of these around the brewery.April 20, 2013Good for writing on carboys and flasksIts perfect for temporary marking glass, especially lab equipment for yeast culturing and also for carboys._x000D__x000D_September 27, 2013Mark you glass and plasticIt writes on both glass and plastic without smudging or wiping off accidentally. Be careful when pulling the string to expose more of the pencil because you can easily over do it and overexpose a lot of the wax leaving it vulnerable to breaking off, and having to expose more.December 17, 2013
