Makes brew day much simpler and smoother.December 17, 2015Best quick disconect on the marketI have several of these for all brewing applications, best quick disconnect on the market. I have one in my mash tun to connect the false bottom dip tube. I also use on on every ball valve on my pots, allows for quick connection of different size tubes, or to connect to a pump, plate chiller or just about anything you have in the brewery. _x000D__x000D_Extremely well made and worth the money, they have lasted me for years already and should last a life time. Easy to install, and easy to maintain. _x000D__x000D_There not cheap, but there worth the money.October 31, 2012QualityI bought this to go with my More Beer Ultimate Sparge Arm. I swap it between my HLT and RIMS and this connector makes it so easy. These are easy to clean and the o-rings last for a long time.March 6, 2013Pricey LuxuryThis hardware is a little pricey, but once you spend the money the equipment seems to be durable and makes brew day even easier. A snap to connect and disconnect. I use these on my Therminator wort in/out and they work flawlessly. No drops or leaks unlike the plastic screw on fittings I bought from Lowes. I leave them connected and don't seem to have any issue with liquid drainage (other than what is normally trapped in the chiller).March 19, 2013Convenience at a priceQuick connects make your life a lot easier, and they last, but they are expensive to buy all you need. This is a better disconnect than others that I've tried. Its top quality, but at a price.May 17, 2013The best I've usedI've tried several types of quick connects and these are the best. If you are going to spend, spend a little more and get the best. I have them on all my ball valves, for my chiller, and my pump. These are well made and wont need to be replaced._x000D_July 23, 2013Good qualityThese make setting up and taking down go faster. Its easier with my plate chiller since I have to switch water flows to clean it. They're well made, and will last.October 10, 2013The Rolls Royce of connectsWhen you take into account that these will last forever and work very well, they are worth it. They get hot so when switching tubing around wear gloves.November 4, 2013DurableIts solidly built and not only does it work well, it will last a life time, which not all connects do. If you have tubing thats needs to be moved, these are the connects to use.March 23, 2014very good qualityThis makes setting up and taking down much faster and less unpleasant. Its especially welcome on my plate chiller since I have to switch water flows to clean it. Well made, will last forever. I'd like to see $5 taken off the price though.February 24, 2013

Browse 1 question Browse 1 question and 3 answersWhat material is the seal made from? Is the spring stainless as well? Do the male fittings seal also?Stainless Steel Female Quick Disconnect FPTBEST ANSWER: It's a ball lock connection. I haven't fully taken it apart to see if the spring is stainless but anything that comes in contact with liquids appears
To be SS.I don't fully understand what your asking but the ball bearings "snap" into place and as long as it's the right diameter and you use hose clamps when you can everything should stay sealed. I did loose a bearing in one and it still seals it's just a pain to get off, hope that helps cheers!
