4.6 / 5.09 ReviewsGreat Brew...I choose this brew for my first attempt at all grain brewing. I ordered the grain pre-ground and didn't have a problem with stuck sparging. The resulting brew truly is one of the best. I wish it had more hop flavor and aroma but friends whom like light hop thinks its perfect. Highly recommend this one. I used the liquid Wyeast option and recommend you do also.April 30, 2010Very good quality.good quality and price. Flavor was excellent. Easy to follow instructions.September 3, 2011Great IPA recipe and ingredients for a good price.Great recipe, simple and cheap. This was one of my first AG IPA batches and it turned out perfect. Pretty simple grain bill, but good flavor and aroma. My friends loved the smell from the grain tun on this one! Copper color is very nice, used some irish moss to clear. Highly recommend the liquid yeast option. Fermentation was very mild and thick, took a long time to drop but i fermented on the low end for the yeast. I'm a hop head, and somewhat disappointed in the lack of strong hop aroma and flavor despite the 3oz of fuggles. The varied hop additions are fun. The quality of the hops and ingredients were top-notch from Midwest, but I'll likely dry hop the next time i brew this batch which by the weight of my keg, will be soon!February 8, 2013fuggles ipaBrewed exactly as instructions specified. Used wyeast. BEER WAS AMAZING! Not too bitter or hoppy. Very interesting character from the yeast.June 3, 2013Fuggles All-grainSimple brew kit at a great price. Would highly recommend with the Wyeast 1275.March 28, 2014We liked it a lotGood quality and price. Flavor was excellent. Easy to follow instructionsMarch 31, 2014An IPA for everyoneAs a typical non-IPA drinker, I wanted to give this a shot and it turned out to be a great choice. Mellow, easy drinker. My IPA-loving beer exchange group liked it as well. Would recommend to all and will purchase again in the future.April 26, 2015Great BrewI brewed this kit for my second or third batch. It came out great and had a wonderful hop aroma. I only wish I had pitched more yeast as I think it would have attenuated a little more and not been so cloying.April 22, 2013Too sweet and strong alcohol flavor after months in conditionDon't know why but it just is not that good...No real resemblance to an IPA and overpowering sweetness.. even after letting it condition for 3 months it's still not enjoyable....February 19, 2017
