5.0 / 5.011 ReviewsThe ninja of bittering hops...Like the description says, this is a very clean bittering hop. You can vary your bitterness with the boiling time, but no matter what, they never overpower the aroma hops! If you like making beers with a certain taste attributed to your finishing hops, this is the bittering hop to use.July 11, 2011It does what it saysThis has no real detectable aroma or flavor. I added the hop pellets to the boil and that notable change to the smell of the wort never happened. If I didn't add the hops myself I never would have believed that they had any hops in the boil (just going by smell). They imparted a smooth bitterness to the finished beer with very little harsh bitterness.April 18, 2012great bittering hopThis is just a terrific hop for bittering. Very clean and neutral. I've seen tones of homebrewer's online who say this is kind of a go to bittering hop for any kind of hoppy APA, IPA or whatever else they're brewing. I've used it several times with great results. Would be worth picking up a pound of these because they are suitable for bittering many styles and have a pretty high AA%.December 21, 2012Smooth bitternessGreat for adding a touch of bitterness without much flavor attached to it. Plus with the high AA, you don't have to use as much as others.January 23, 2013Fresh & clean bittering hopProvides a very smooth bitterness to beers. Gives off a great aroma and can detect the clean Magnum hop in the final product.March 27, 2013Best Clean Bittering HopThis is my favorite clean bittering hop. If I'm just looking for plain IBU's this is my go to hop. Keeps the hop material to a minimum in the boil kettle because of high AA. Great for bittering ales that will eventually get fruit or other additions or to give a huge IBU charge to IPA's.April 23, 2013Nice SpiceI really enjoy using this for bittering a beer. It gives a very smooth/clean bitterness that is hard not to appreciate. I don't think this works so well for aroma because of the hop-punch it carries. However, still excellent in the bittering department.July 9, 2013Great to Bitter with.Great hops for a german beer. Probably my personal favorite to bitter a German beer with. It has somewhat of a spiced flavor that I commonly find in other German beers.July 12, 2013AwesomeSmooth as a bittering hop and works perfectly with citrusy/fruity late additions.December 8, 2013
