DetailsDeep orange in color and brimming with notes of peach, apricot and citrus, Grapefruit Sultan finishes with an authoritative and heavy-handed dose of grapefruit flavor and aroma. Slightly restrained bitterness allows for citrus domination, while impressions of clean, crisp malt character and moderate caramel flavors serve to balance out this empire of a beer. Have a pint, or two, of this IPA and Grapefruit Sultan will assert rule over your palate.

4.0 / 5.02 ReviewsVery Close, and good enough for me.Made this exactly to the recipe, yeast us-05. I enjoyed this, but it didn't come out as fresh as the ballast point beer as far as grapefruit smell and flavor. I have researched this recipe and the exact steps that brewers swear by have a few more steps involved. Anyway would make again, and didn't disappoint.September 4, 2017Great Summer Beer!Good year-around too. I've made it a few times now and plan another batch next weekend. The wife just loves it!February 26, 2018Purchased
