5.0 / 5.06 ReviewsGreat Summer wineOn my third batch. can't keep it in the cellar. The apple adds a crispness to the Riesling and does not overpower it.August 15, 2016Great Summer WineMuch to my surprise this wine is very well balanced on sweetness, not too sweet and not too dry. It seems to be everyone's favorite. The taste is light and flavorful, excellent choice for summertime patio drinking. My friends that have been lucky enough to get a sampling of this wine keep asking for more. This wine will be a summertime staple at our house. The only problem we have encountered is that we did not make enough to last the summer.July 9, 2017Purchased
2 months agousing this one for my wedding reception! This wine kit turned out great! I ended up fermenting a couple weeks longer than the recipe called for because my refractometer is giving misreadings and I thought it wasn't finished fermenting. I had suspected an issue so I checked it later with a hydrometer and all was completely fermented at about 6 weeks. It may have fermented a little slower than expected but I will never know for sure because of my faulty reading, however the Riesling tasted very good even at bottling time. I can't wait to try this one after some time aging, I suspect a quality wine based on my initial tastings. I will be making this one again for sure!December 19, 2016Purchased
11 months agoVery good even on bottling dayI have made 6 reds before this first try at a white. I was pleasantly surprised to find that on bottling day it was very tasty, crisp and refreshing. I added 5 pounds of plain sugar on day 1 to get an ABV of 13-14%. I am very impressed with the quality of this wine especially considering the price. All my friends raved over it. I am looking at buying a couple of the other tropicals. One thing I learned with this first white... be super careful racking leading up to bottling day or get a filter system. Sediment shows up bad in whites.July 21, 2017This was my first batch ??????????The only problem was it didn't last long. Family and friends loved it. I'm making another batch very soon.January 21, 2017Purchased
