2 months agoGasketsFit, form, and function. They aren't sexy but they get the job done.February 16, 2016Seals wellThey may not look pretty, but they work. Each time I use one I notch it, and flip it over. After 5 uses I throw it away, so as to prevent getting flat beers.February 21, 2014Not the same materialI had a few of the neoprene gaskets wear out and replaced them with these. These work but don't last as long and are pretty roughly cut. But the price is good.January 22, 2014they work but look badThese are crudely cut rubber pieces that do work, but they look ugly and I wonder how long they will last.October 27, 2013Not teh same as the originalThese work, but they are rubber, not the nicer neoprene gaskets that come with real Grolsch bottles. These are crudely cut, but they work, and are inexpensive.September 30, 2013GreatIf you use flip tops these are a must. Another good tip, if your guitar strap is stretched and comes off the peg, you can stick these on the guitar peg and it will hold the strap on like new.September 18, 2013OKThese gaskets get the job done, but don't look as nice or thick as original gaskets that come on imported swing top beer bottles. I expect to get 3-4 uses out of these compared to 5-6 on original bottle gaskets. Great price at Midwest makes it n easy decision to stock up!July 22, 2013Cheap, but workThey are just crudely cut rubber but they work fine. I have a lot of swing tops and occasionally a gasket leaks so I replace it with one of these.June 19, 2013Extends life of bottlesGrolsch type bottles are my favorite due to how easy it is to bottle. I also like the pop when you open the bottle. You can get a lot of uses out of a grolsch type bottle but the seals can poop out after what i've heard is about five uses. I replace my seals after five uses and have not had any issues with the seals leaking. These seals are also pretty easy to remove. I have had to take pliers to pull the original seals off but some of the time i can just use my fingers.April 24, 2013
