It's got just a few ingredients, is easy to brew, and tastes great. Very drinkable, and one of the best kits I've brewed recently.March 22, 2013Great BeerI brewed this kit and added the zest of 2 large oranges, I highly recommend it!May 14, 2013All grain HefeweizenThe brew smells wonderful as it came out of the fermentor. The brewing went smooth and it has since been bottled. We like for our brew to sit 2 months before we taste test. All of the other kits have been great....we expect nothing less for this one.February 5, 2017Purchased
1 year agoGreat! My second all grain batch and it turned out wonderful! Had a party with another batch of homebrew as well as some commercial microbrews and this one was the clear winner! I will be brewing many more batches in the future.January 27, 2010delicious!Very simple ingredients, and very easy to brew. Perfect for a warm evening on the deck, sitting under the shade tree.June 7, 2010Best German-style weizen madeI've enjoyed this kit for years. Easily makes the perfect German-style weizen beer and it's good all year-round.November 23, 2010Hits the mark, excellentMy brother in law, who has lived in Germany and Austria for many years, said, "hits the mark, excellent". I, personally, wasn't sure how to rank it in the world of hefes. I just know its not to hard to drink. I brewed using protein rest, and 2 sacch rests (decoction). Never attempted that before and a hefe seemed to lend itself to this type of schedule. A hectic learning experience, but worth it. Like the first beer I brewed, I wasn't sure I hadn't screwed it.June 1, 2011
