7 months agoAll grain HefeweizenThe brew smells wonderful as it came out of the fermentor. The brewing went smooth and it has since been bottled. We like for our brew to sit 2 months before we taste test. All of the other kits have been great....we expect nothing less for this one.February 5, 2017Purchased
8 months agoGreat!My second all grain batch and it turned out wonderful! Had a party with another batch of homebrew as well as some commercial microbrews and this one was the clear winner! I, personally, wasn't sure how to rank it in the world of hefes. I just know its not to hard to drink. I brewed using protein rest,and 2 sacch rests (decoction). Never attempted that before and a hefe seemed to lend itself to this type of schedule. A hectic learning experience, but worth it. Like the first beer I brewed, I wasn't sure I hadn't screwed it.June 1, 2011Was a big hit!This was the first recipe that I kegged and everybody in my family couldn't say enough good things.
