How do I ferment in a cornelius keg?
It works pretty much the same as any other vessel, but the main issue is how to release the CO2 produced during fermentation.
First off, we recommend using PBW and a dip tube cleaning brush to insure the keg is immaculate. Then to ferment in the stainless steel Cornelius ball lock keg we recommend using 1 oz Fermcap-S foam control to keep the krausen at a 1/2" and prevents blow off. We would recommend using a stainless steel ball-lock keg airlock.
