DetailsThis is a classic with all the makings of a powerful medium-bodied red wine, complete with fermentation on Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins. The aroma in the glass is reminiscent of farm fresh cherries backed by streaks of dark chocolate and toasted oak, which ages well into a wine of award winning potential.
From the full-bodied and robust to the soft and refined, Cru Select wines are delightful dinner companion and a real treasure for wine enthusiasts looking to complete their personal cellar.

Browse 1 question Browse 1 question and 2 answerswhat are the grapes and where did they come from?BEST ANSWER: I do not specifically know the answer to your question, but may be able to supply some insight. It appears that Valpolicella is a blend of several grapes from that region of Italy. The process of repassing it seems is to add the lighter wine with Amarone to produce a bigger, more flavorful and more complex wine. From what I know RJ Spagnol is owned by a Canadian company. I suspect that they purchase concentrate from various sources worldwide. I am not a wine drinker, but I have tasted it and find it to be an excellent competitor to Cabernet Sauvignon. I hope this helps.
