over 2 years agoA Great Tool! This hydrometer is a must have for any serious homebrewer looking to up their game with good data. No more guessing while looking at lines on a hydrometer that covers too much ground to be exact. We all know that everything from mash temp to FAN in the wort to yeast strain...can effect what attenuation you get. Really dial it in with the ability to take a solid final gravity reading. Cheers!June 25, 2018Purchased

over 2 years agotoo much variabilityBought 2 of these, because you know I drop things, one reads dead on 1.000 temperature corrected in RO/DI water and the other reads 0.994. For a "lab grade" piece of measurement equipment this is unacceptableOctober 14, 2016Response from Midwest SuppliesThanks for informing us of the problem. Based on our records, we don't believe this to be a widespread issue, but we will be investigating and sending you a replacement hydrometer.November 2, 2016Midwest SuppliesPrecision made easyThis lab grade hydrometer makes measuring final gravity accurately much easier. I always felt I was +/- a point on reading my old triple scale, but this hydrometer eliminates that uncertainty. Recommend this for anyone who likes accuracy in their brewing.March 22, 2016
