1 year agoPrecision made easyThis lab grade hydrometer makes measuring final gravity accurately much easier. I always felt I was +/- a point on reading my old triple scale, but this hydrometer eliminates that uncertainty. Recommend this for anyone who likes accuracy in their brewing.March 22, 2016too much variabilityBought 2 of these, because you know I drop things, one reads dead on 1.000 temperature corrected in RO/DI water and the other reads 0.994. For a "lab grade" piece of measurement equipment this is unacceptableOctober 14, 2016Response from Midwest SuppliesThanks for informing us of the problem. Based on our records, we don't believe this to be a widespread issue, but we will be investigating and sending you a replacement hydrometer.November 2, 2016Midwest Supplies
