4.9 / 5.014 ReviewsExcellent beer on a hot dayI was quite frankly taken aback by how good this beer was. We were looking for a nice fresh beer for the hot summer days. I was afraid this would be a little over the top but was proved wrong, this is a great beer! I would definitely recommend letting this one sit for a month prior to drinking to let the flavors come together and mellow a bit, after 2 weeks it was just a little too much but after a month or so it proved to be sensational so brew it well in advance of the warm weather!October 25, 2011Zinnngg!This beer is an under dog! I had a party with 12 gallons, everyone loved it. The coriander gives it a little zing at the beginning, followed by a well balanced hint of lemon at the finish. Works very well with the Wyeast 3068, adds some fruity notes. Definitely a crowd pleaser!October 29, 2011Good tasting anytimeNot just for summers, this is a refreshing, good tasting beer. It's not a thin session beer, it has real character and the Coriander and liquid yeast give it a nice enhancement. I used the Hefeweizen 300 yeast.January 12, 2013I really enjoyed this beer.It has great mouth feel, aroma, taste, and drinkability. The lemon taste is strong but not overwhelming. It has a darker color, a little more red then expected. I used the Weihenstephan yest with starter, and gave it 2 weeks in the secondary.March 23, 2013Lemon Coriander WeissThis was my very first all-grain brew. 5 days in the primary, 10 days in the secondary, and 7 days in the bottle, i had a very good beer. I let half the beer age at room tempature and just put it in the fridge when i was ready to drink it. The beer just got better and better. I was sad when i ran out. I will definetly re-order.April 22, 2013Excellent summer brewAs everyone else has stated, this is an absolutely fantastic summer beer. I found the zest from 1 lemon to be plenty, but a word of caution: the instructions say to nuke the zest to sanitize it. I did so and wound up with several mold colonies floating on the surface. After racking to another carboy (sans mold) I zested another lemon, but soaked it in cheap vodka for a few minutes instead. This did the trick (and had the happy effect of dramatically improving the vodka).May 12, 2013Great Summer BeerThis is a really enjoyable summer beer. I like the blend of lemon and corriander to enhance the flavor. You will want lemons on hand to zest for adding to the fermenter.June 13, 2013Nice and RefreshingThis beer is an excellent Weiss beer! It's clean and refreshing with a subtle taste of lemon. I was a little disappointed that my OG was a little low, but that happens. Still, a great beer at a great price. Perfect for summer!July 2, 2013A pleasant beer to drink on a hot dayThis is a good beer and is especially suitable to hot summer days. Because of all the spices I gave it 4 weeks in the secondary and 4 to condition. 10 weeks after brew day it tasted very good. The Wyeast fermented warm gives it a nice additional taste that goes well with the lemon.July 7, 2013
