Very sweet
It's much much stronger and sweeter than other Munich malts I've used._x000D_Gives a strong caramel / melanoidin flavor. It has some grainy, nutty flavor as well.

If I make 5 gallons of IPA, should I add 1 lb of this malt?
Max W on Jul 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That is what I use for the IPAs as I brew. Typically use 1 lb or slightly less depending on preference per 5 gallons.
What does usage % mean?
Bryce K on Jan 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This refers to the maximum proportion of a specific malt to the total amount of grain. For Bonlander Munich, the malting company recommends using no more than half (50%) of this grain as part of the total grain bill. For most recipes, the other half may be made up mostly Pilsner malt (say 40%) with some darker grains (often 10% or less). Light barley grains, like Pilsner and light Munich, may be used up to 100%. The darker grains get from there, the lower the % used.
