I've made a batch of Apricot wine and am currently making a strawberry wine. This kit is an easy segway into the winemaking craft and has a recipe book which has a pretty sound foundation for anyone with a desire to learn.I've made grape wine from a 5 gallon kit previously and the end result was not as good as this. I highly recommend this and eventually will get a wine press to make more complex wines. Another excellent set up by Midwest Supplies is the "upgrade kit" where you can get wine bottles and supplies as well as the "refill kit" for your wine additives that really make this fun and easy.I would buy this again - and enjoy this hobby. Thanks MWS!February 20, 2016Love this little kitSo, I bought this kit with the intention of making small 1 gallon batches of wine and so far so good. I have only had it for about a month and have one batch going. Really for the money this is a great kit, it comes with tannin, yeast nutrient, yeast etc. You just can't beat that if you like to make your own wine.March 18, 2016
