Midwest stocks honey exclusively from the Peterson Honey Company, which consistently produces the best artisan-grade honey made in Minnesota. Peterson Honey has won several blue ribbons at the Minnesota State Fair, and has been used to produce award winning meads.

Note: If using the honey in your beer: Boil 30 minutes for a hint of sweetness, or for 5 to 10 minutes for more residual sweetness. Either way, it will increase the alcohol content of your brew.

A good add to boost your ale.
Purchased this to add at the eND of the boil for honey bee ale. It had a nice golden color and smooth texture. I'm waiting to see how it turned out with the ale addition.

Very good tasting honey
I've been using this clover honey in different beers and I'm very happy with it. I used it in a Mead that I liked and I also have used it in darker beers to add some additional flavor and complexity. This isn't some generic honey, it's the good stuff and worth the money.

Good honey for Mead
I had read conflicting reports about using Clover Honey for Mead, but my Mead came out well. I used plenty of nutrients and it was ready in 4 months. I made a still Mead and it was good. No funny flavors or harshness at all.
