Details

Cork your best bottles with the airtight convenience of these synthetic corks. They keep the air out and the freshness and flavors of your homemade wines in. A great way to provide a barrier to oxidization for wines that will age for several years. Best of all, no leaks and no breakage when these corks are removed.

  • Synthetic corks will not become tainted, crumble, break or leak
  • Allows for upright bottle storage, as synthetic construction won’t dry out
  • Your choice of quantity: 30, 100 or 1000

Note: We recommend using the Gilda Single lever corker with these corks because while some Portuguese or Italian floor corkers may work without problems, there is also a chance that the cork will be scored as it is inserted into the bottle, causing leaks.

The best for aging wine.
These synthetic corks are great. They allow you to age your wine longer than 6 months. You do not have to worry about your wine tasting "corky". Although you do have to have an italian corker to use them. Definitely worth the price. Would not go back to regular cork.

Easy to install, does not leak, does not rot
Have used these and they outperform traditional cork corks. They seal perfectly, do not rot, will not affect flavor, and come out in one piece. I will not go back now that I have used these !

Seals well and allows bottles to be stored upright
I try to age my wines and presently have 18 cases in various stages . Nomacorcs do not require the bottle to be horizontal to maintain a seal as with regular corks. Much easier to stack cases for storage in the vertical.

Fantastic product
I have used over 200 of these corks and have never had a leak, never had a rotting problem, never had one break into pieces while removing it to drink. Fantastic corks compared to the old style of cork. These stand up better than any regular cork on this website, only thing these would not stand up against MAYBE would be the top end type of corks and thats it. Great product. Just wished you could have different designs. Thats my only complaint.

Never let me down
I have used these corks on several batches of wine and they always compress and seal well. Never had one leak. Good cork to use.

Worked Great For Us
We used these for this year's "Christmas Wine" and they worked great! _x000D__x000D_Even though these are large #9 corks we managed to drive them in with Midwest's basic plastic plunger._x000D_http://www.midwestsupplies.com/plastic-plunger-corker.html_x000D__x000D_With the small plastic plunger, lots or StarSan (doubling as lube), and a rubber mallet we managed to drive each one in. With a more robust corker, these would have gone in without the drama._x000D__x000D_Since these are synthetic they make an O2 barrier even when stored upright. Despite them being a bit more difficult to insert, we plan to only use synthetic corks like these going forward.

Great seal, easy to handle
Even using a simple handheld corker, these were easy to handle and inserted into the bottles just fine. Held a good seal on everything, no leaks. Last longer than traditional corks and don't contribute any off-flavors, you can't go wrong.

Reliable and seal well
I have used these corks on a half dozen batches of wine and they always compress and never leak. Because these are synthetic they make an Oxygen even when standing upright. They are a little harder to insert, but are worth it for the reliability.

BEST ANSWER: Silly as this sounds, I've never tried the Nomacorc in the smaller bottle because it looks so small. I've always bought the 7 X 1 3/4 regular corks for these, but I always preferred the synthetic cork. I just went and tried to put in a Nomocorc and it did work, but it wasn't flush with the top. It was a little more difficult to remove the cork, but not impossible. I use a double handle, red colored, corker which does not stand alone on a table. Don't try this with the small corker that you pound in with your hand. Good luck t.
Do these work with the double leaver corker?

BEST ANSWER: It can be done, but it may be a bit tough to do. #8 corks are easier to put in with this corker. #9's can be used, but a bit of strength will be required. -Mike W, Midwest Supplies
