DetailsStyled after southern English brown ales, our Nut Brown Ale kit is a great all-around beer: it's easy to brew (its dark color and rich flavor make it forgiving of mistakes), it's mild enough for light beer drinkers, but characterful enough for more experienced brewers and beer lovers. The finished product exhibits a deep copper color, fruity/caramelly flavor and aroma with toasty, chocolaty notes; and it tastes great after just a few weeks.

Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 6 answersWhat percentage alcohol is it?BEST ANSWER: Perhaps my fermenting conditions were not ideal. But my nut brown came out a disappointing 3.9%. My wife, however, prefers a lower alcohol beer, so she was happy and she also liked the flavor as did I.what is the abv ?BEST ANSWER: I calculated 4.4 OG was 1042, final gravity 1008. Subtract OG from FG= 34 x 131.25. I know there are other methods but this is how I did it. Hope this helps.
