4.9 / 5.0109 Reviews1 stepThis is a great and easy cleanser. I soak all of my equipment it it before I sanitize. No infections to this date! a must have in my book.April 24, 2013great productI have always used this stuff. I do rinse just to be safe. But I could not ask for a better cleaner.October 15, 2012One Step is the right step! There's a lot of cleansers and sanitizers out there, but honestly, I'm simple and I like to keep things simple including, but not limited to my brewing, which includes using a simple product that is safe, reliable and easy to use. One Tbsp to a gallon of warm water and that's it. One jar lasts a loooong time. A lot of folks will reuse too, which saves money, but I'm a little causious and don't want to be penny-wise and pound-foolish tyring to save a few cents and end of sacrificing a batch of brew is not my style. My recommendation is keep it clean and you'll be a brewin' machine. Cheers!!October 25, 2012Product works just as descibed. This is an excellent product and a must for home brewers. One step is indeed a powder. One Step is listed in the category of sanitizers, be the label says it is a cleanser. Which is it? Sorry for the newbie questions. (I did try checking the forum)BEST ANSWER: One step is an oxygen based cleaner. It does have sanitizing properties. It must be made fresh every time and needs about 2 minutes contact time to effectively sanitize. It's great and simple and easy when equipment is very clean, like new, but most will graduate to more effective, yet confusing, agents for sanitizing. How large is the containerBEST ANSWER: 8 oz
