DetailsThe Plastic Spring Tip bottle filler is made of durable plastic, and has a spring loaded ball valve at the tip. Simply push the filler down on the bottom of the bottle until the beer or wine reaches the top, and after removing the filler, the perfect amount of head space is created. This bottle filler uses the 5/16" or 3/8" tubing.

4.9 / 5.093 ReviewsfillerThis one is the one you want! No more messes from over filling.April 22, 2013bottle fillerI really like this one. The spring gives you an instant shut off, which means fewer messes.April 22, 2013Great product.I've bottled without using this before. I just put the bottle under the bottle bucket spigot and let the beer flow. This does hypothetically work, however, it made me very uncomfortable with how much the beer would slosh around in the bottle. The more sloshing it does the greater chance of oxidization. You don't have to worry about that with this. The piece of mind from knowing that one less thing has been removed that can spoil your beer is more than worth the what, 3 dollars for this product.April 23, 2013Spring Tip Makes All The DifferenceI had been using the 1/2" auto-siphon to bottle. It is great but when putting the bottle filler down it would leak out unless placed just right. With the spring tip you don't have to worry about it at all. I just wish they made one that fit the 1/2" siphon to fill bottles a little faster.May 15, 2013A must have!Hard to bottle without it, and easy to clean. Can't imagine ever botteling beer again without this thief!_x000D_April 23, 2013makes bottling easyA big improvement over using a clip on a siphon to feed the bottles. It doesn't leak other than some of the beer thats on the sides running down. Keep it clean by setting in water and running some through it, then sanitizer.June 4, 2013The spring makes the differenceThis is a lot better than the drippy fermtech filler. It doesn't leak any beer, though some may run down the side from when you insert it into the bottle and it fills it up._x000D_5 stars for this if you bottle.July 18, 2013So easy!Used this for the first time today and saved 45 minutes and no spill mess when bottling with this instead of just a siphon and clamp. Easy flow = No risk of oxidizing beer during bottling. Perfect for a one man bottling operation. I could never go back after trying this!July 19, 2013The spring tip bottle fillerThe spring tip bottle filler makes bottling much easier with less spillage.February 1, 2016Simple, and does the job. This is much better than the cheaper version without a spring. The only overfills I have had with this bottling wand is when I get distracted. The spring opens and shuts down quickly and you can easily control the flow by applying more or less pressure.July 19, 2013

Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 6 answersSo I bought this product for my husband and he has a standard 5 gal bucket with the red spigot. There is no connector that goes with this to fit it? What do I need to buy to convert it so they hook together?BEST ANSWER: I use the Spring Tip Bottle Filler every time I bottle my wine. It's an excellent device which gives you the precise control you need while filling. Wilson's answer to your question is very good - i.e. 3/8" vinyl tube. I searched for the product referenced in your question but could not locate it, so you may need to adapt the 3/8" tubing either smaller or larger to fit. If the application is for wine then another thought would be to look at the Auto Siphon devices available (sku 7203, or 41821). You use clear vinyl tubing to connect them to the Bottle Filler. This allows a person to fill bottles with wine from the upper portion of the batch and avoid the sediment at the bottom. I would be concerned about mixing sediment with wine at the bottom of the bucket during bottle filling if that is where the spigot is located. Just a thought. Hope that helps. Can you also use this to transfer from primary to secondary when racking?BEST ANSWER: You can most definitely use the spring tip bottle filler when transferring from primary to secondary, it will just take a fairly long time due to the restricted flow caused by the bottle filler.
