Contiuous Booch

Bought this great kit at a discount and I am happy with the purchase. Product improvement suggestion: a fine mesh lid would really make this kit 5-star. Otherwise, my only regret is that I did not opt for the 3-gallon kit.

Love my Kombucha Kit

I have made my first batch of kombucha! It turned out great. The only downer is that there are no handles on the glass, so if you need to move if for any reason, it has a tendency to spill your kombucha.

Making booch is now easy

I'm just loving my new 2 gallon fermenter with bottling spout. It makes the process go so much faster and easier to clean up. I'm on my third batch and never looking back.

Hit and miss

The brewing vessel and spigot are very good. I liked that the kit included raw cane sugar, the black tea tasted fresh. On the downside while there was an adequate amount of starter liquid the scoby culture was very small and it brewed a weak batch even after letting it ferment quite a bit longer than normal. I learned butter muslin (cheesecloth) is not a good choice for a cover as fruit flys can penetrate. A tight fitting cloth cover is recommended.
