The brewing vessel and spigot are very good. I liked that the kit included raw cane sugar, the black tea tasted fresh. On the downside while there was an adequate amount of starter liquid the scoby culture was very small and it brewed a weak batch even after letting it ferment quite a bit longer than normal. I learned butter muslin (cheesecloth) is not a good choice for a cover as fruit flys can penetrate. A tight fitting cloth cover is recommended.
great prices--great service
I received all the supplies I ordered to make Kombucha very securely packed and nothing was damaged or broken. The 2 gal. Kombucha continuous brew jug with spigot is perfect! I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to make other purchases in the future.
Love my new jar with a spout , so much easier to full my bottles , love it 😘
I've had no trouble so far making kombucha with this starter kit. Everything has gone smoothly, and easily. The kit includes everything I needed for the first batch, plus one more. There is plenty of tea and cheesecloth; the sugar lasted for two gallons, and then I had to buy more. I'm saving a lot of money on kombucha, and I'm hoping to get into flavoring now that I feel confident with the basic process.
