Great filter. Screwed it into the inside of my boil kettle valve and it has made my life so much easier!

WORKS Great.

I just slid it on the original spicket inside a 5 gallon igloo cooler and it works great.

Filter Screen

Simple. Easy to use. Works. No stems and seeds you don't need get through this. I have used it in a pinch to replace the false bottom of my lauter tun . No problems. Recommend applying a light coat of silicone (not petroleum) lube on the outer surface of the filter insert, and inner surface of the 2 O-rings in the kettle ball-valve. Easily done with a Q-tip. Prevents steel from nicking the rubber + extends O-ring life. docfroh

Works great!

I have an 8 gal. Megapot, and instead of the expensive FB I decided on this boil screen. I used it once thus far, but it worked very well, and after running off a gallon or so of the wort I was able to filter out most of the grains. After the boil/cooling, I ran the cooled wort into the fermenter (via the spigot) and most, if not all of, the hops were "filtered" out. I did not have an issue with a stuck sparge, but I suppose it could happen if you drain the wort too quickly.
