I used amber un hupped syrup, in making a Octoberfest cream ale, that came out super,thank you
I have had other malt extracts that had a cardboard like flavor but maillard are some of the better I’ve tried as far as the red ale goes all I can say is it’s tough to stop after three , this beer has a great drink ability and pairs well with corned beef and cabbage but so does the stout
makes a great octoberfest
great taste and color .... still bottle conditioning 3 weeks now!
