This world-renowned Bourbon Barrel Style features RJS' patented Genuwine Dried Grape Skins. Double Down Red

WOW, the first taste was amazing. A little bite of whiskey flavor followed by a hint of cherry and a mellow finish. A big hit on Mother's day.

Nice sipping wine

I really love this, but we altered it just a bit. The bourbon flavor packet smelled very strong, so we added just one instead of both. We sampled when it was time to bottle, and was still overpowering so we added oak cubes to mellow it & let it sit a couple more weeks before bottling. A couple months to age and I love it! Not heavy maple, but great caramel undertones!!

I just open one bottle, gee so mush sugar i was certain that was not wine but sirop maple
disappointing. You need to love maple sugar sirop to drink that wine, can’t beleive this is wine
so you better have a very sweet tooth to love that.

Beware the maple

I just completed this kit. All is mostly well but the flavor is dominated by maple. I did not even see maple in the description. I was looking forward to the typical bourbon barrel flavor but no, it is all Maple. If you love love love maple, go for it. If not, take this as your notice. The wine itself is not bad in all other categories, its just the maple. Did I mention the maple.
