Our Hugo rockwool cubes are wrapped in plastic on four sides, leaving the top and bottom open to allow you to water and the cube to drain. This means the exposed top can be colonized by algae, which is unsightly and can cause other issues with pests. The Cube Cap fits right on top of Hugo, leaving an opening large enough for your plant to poke through while preventing algae build-up. Even better, the heavy plastic unit is washable and re-usable, and sits high enough off of the top of the cube to allow for air circulation!

Cube Caps work great in reducing algae and help control some media-born pests. These heavy duty plastic cube covers are raised slightly above the surface of the rockwool cube to allow adequate airflow. These will fit the Hugo rockwool cubes. Washable and reusable.
