Very good results with the wine expert kits with skins.
After 3 years of aging in the carboy I finally got to bottle and sample this wine. It was worth the wait. This wine does need to age. I researched Barolo and Nebbiolo wines and found that they can be aged 10 years or more. I will let a bottle or sit for the ten years but even after 3 this is one of favorites. It is almost as good as my Stag's Leap Merlot that I let age 10 years. My second batch has now been aging 2 1/2 years so I think it is close to sampling time.
Remember, Let this one age. It won't disappoint.
I would write a review But I can't get a response from the last ones I have written. Thanks for your response Charlie
one of our favorite. Fruity and smooth.
I try to make 8-10 wine kits each year, and I have had great success with this wine kit. The directions are simple and straightforward. Careful attention to sanitation is essential, and careful consideration of degassing will produce a quality wine with depth, outstanding flavor, impressive bouquet, and a beautiful colour.
This is one of the wines that I enjoying sharing with friends and giving as gifts.
This is worth your effort, and expense.
