This hydrometer is great for determining finishing gravity. Easy enough to get a precise reading.
This hydrometer is a must have for any serious homebrewer looking to up their game with good data. No more guessing while looking at lines on a hydrometer that covers too much ground to be exact. We all know that everything from mash temp to FAN in the wort to yeast strain...can effect what attenuation you get. Really dial it in with the ability to take a solid final gravity reading. Cheers!
I use this for calculating Alcohol By Volume of my homemade wines. The scale range is perfect for both dry and desert wines.
The hydrometer is easy to read due to the scale, easy to use, well made,
Bought 2 of these, because you know I drop things, one reads dead on 1.000 temperature corrected in RO/DI water and the other reads 0.994. For a "lab grade" piece of measurement equipment this is unacceptable
