Caramel 60 is a widely used, versatile, medium crystal malt that will contribute a rich sweetness, and pleasant toasted bread and pronounced, full caramel flavor with a light reddish hue. I use this grain to add body and color to my beers. It can also help improve head retention._x000D_
It adds sweetness and mouthfeel as well as darkening the beer a little. _x000D_Good for IPAs and Pale ales. If you us enough of it, it has a bready taste, which is good in English ales.
